We are excited to announce that Mr. Tim Hall will join the team as our newest on-site SBDC Representative.  The Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center has always graciously hosted a representative at our Naples Accelerator location to assist our members and companies with starting and growing their businesses.  The addition of Mr. Hall is a phenomenal asset to our program and we look forward to having him on site and available Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Our members can book time directly with him through our member portal.


Tim Hall, SBDC

Hall is a seasoned business executive with many years of experience at the executive level of several Regional banks.  In addition, Hall, who has a passion for Education, was a founding Director and subsequently President and CEO of the Chelsea School in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Hall’s banking career spans over forty years.  He was first employed in the management training program at the Shawmut Bank of Boston.  With a move to the Washington, D.C. area, Hall served as Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for NS&T Bank, area executive for First National Bank of Maryland and Senior Vice President for First American Bank.

Hall joined The Chelsea School as its President and CEO in 1995.  The Chelsea School is a school for children with learning differences and ADD/ADHD.  At Chelsea, each child is valued and has equitable access to opportunity. Chelsea embraces each child’s differences and celebrates their achievement as part of a community.  Started in 1975, Chelsea has 125 students in grades 5-12.  It is proud of its 100% graduation rates and its 90-100% college/university acceptance rates.  As President and CEO, Hall led the school through a transition period and oversaw the raising of significant capital funds, the purchase of a new campus, the rehabilitation of two existing building and the construction of a new building. In 2003, Chelsea started a new school, the Pershing School at Chelsea, to further its outreach.

Most recently, Hall was the Vice President for Advancement for Hodges University where he managed a department of professionals that more fully developed the awareness of Hodges and its colleges within the community as well as raise money for scholarships, endowment and general operating expenses.

Since moving to Florida in 2007, Hall has also been a Senior Asset Manager with Hudson Realty Capital where he specialized in the workout of a portfolio of loans acquired from the FDIC and a Senior Vice President with First American Bank where he concentrated his efforts in developing and maintaining a commercial loan portfolio.

He has remained very active in the Alumni affairs of Bates College and has been active in the community with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassadors Corp, Collier County Honor Flights, Habitat for Humanity and Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church.

Hall received a BA in Economics from Bates College and a MBA from Boston University.

Hall and his wife, Jill, moved to Florida in 2007.  They have three grown children and six perfect grandchildren.  The Halls live in Naples.
